Bosch moves on to launch their own autonomous car planned for 2020. In April last year already showed their vision based on a Tesla Model S, and in this CES 2016 they wanted to be taking further away their own prototype so that we could do a better idea to ourselves of which it is the concept that they are chasing.
It is a futuristic vehicle full of displays to provide any information. In them we can use the onboard navigator, connect our smart devices, and even make calls from Skype while we are on automatic pilot. It may even show warnings if the car detects that we are in danger of a crash.
A touch screen with texture on its buttons
Between all the panels that will show us all kinds of data, there is one that stands out among others, so much that the Award has taken to the Innovation in the In-Vehicle Audio/Video category. It has a touch screen with haptic feedback buttons that will show us a texture that makes them seem physical and real.
With it, the driver can give face control button a certain texture. So, when we go to turn the car stereo or use any particular function we do not need to look away to the panel, since it is sufficient to slide hand over it to find the button we’re looking for.
The car also allow us to navigate through our mobile applications with gesture and voice controls, have an indispensable automatic parking system that detects itself the free spaces, and even use an internal camera to control where we are looking and to activate the screen nearest to our line of vision.
Obviously, with so much modernity and screen Bosch also wants to implement certain customization options allowing, for example, we can choose the color of the interior LED lights. As in a car that gives the driver the whole information of the world the life of the co-driver can be especially boring, on your screen can connect your own mobile and kill time using various social applications.
As we said at the beginning, Bosch intends to have all this technology ready for the 2020. So the design of this prototype could still be away from which we see in the vehicle that end up being traded. Therefore we must therefore be aware of upcoming events to see how evolve the concepts of the manufacturer.
